WebP to JPG Converter

Turn WebP images saved from websites into ordinary JPG files. Choose a quality, convert in bulk and download; everything runs on your device.

Higher keeps more detail; lower makes smaller files. Changing it converts the files again.

Private by design. Your files never leave your device. The conversion runs inside your browser, so nothing is uploaded to a server and nothing is stored. JPG has no transparency, so transparent areas become white.

How to convert WebP to JPG

  1. Choose your WebP files, or drag and drop them onto the box. You can add many at once.
  2. Set the quality with the slider.
  3. Download each JPG with its button, or use Download all (.zip) when you converted several.

WebP to JPG or PNG?

JPG files are small and open in every app, which makes them the easy choice for photos. JPG has no transparency, so transparent areas become white. If your WebP has a transparent background, such as a logo, use WebP to PNG instead to keep it.

Frequently asked questions

Are my images uploaded anywhere?

No. The converter is a web page that runs in your browser. Your files are read and converted on your own device and are never sent to a server.

What happens to transparent backgrounds?

JPG cannot store transparency, so transparent areas are filled with white. Use the WebP to PNG converter to keep them transparent.

What happens with animated WebP files?

Only the first frame is converted to JPG.

Which quality should I choose?

The default of 92 looks the same as the original for most images. Lower it to make smaller files.
